About Morgann Balkcom

Morgann is The Healing House Concepts Treasurer and works alongside Dr. Franco-Chavez as Desert Ritual’s licensed aesthetician & certified wellness coach. She is passionate about expanding access to integrative, naturopathic, and wellness-focused care for members of our community who might not otherwise be able to afford it. She believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience health, vitality, and healing, regardless of their circumstances.

With a diverse background spanning advanced aesthetic treatments, wellness and mental health coaching, and integrative wellness therapies, Morgann’s work is rooted in her passion for unlocking the body’s innate ability to heal. Her approach centers on the belief that many of the most powerful tools for healing are also the most accessible: quality sleep, meaningful connections, movement, nutrition, time in nature, stress management, purpose, and daily rituals that support the body’s natural design.  She is certified in the 8 Points of Intrinsic Health under renowned wellness expert Dr. Zach Bush, who has infused her work and connection between mind, body, and environment — and how to support the body’s natural ability to heal.

Morgann’s work includes helping individuals interweave advanced modalities and therapies such as mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy, low-level laser/red light therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, lymphatic support, sauna therapy, and frequency-based nervous system support. While she values the benefits of advanced wellness technologies, she views them as powerful complements to– not replacements for– the foundational habits and daily rituals that create lasting health. Her dream is to help create a world where these tools are more accessible to those who could benefit from them.

Morgann is also deeply passionate about the connection between food, agriculture, and human health. She believes that healthy soil, nutrient-dense food, and thriving local ecosystems are foundational to our collective vitality. An advocate for local and regenerative food systems, she believes meaningful change happens when farmers, healthcare providers, and community members come together to shape the future of health, agriculture, and community well-being.
